And sorry if this topic has been done, but could not find nething on it.

What the title says, I would like to know what games, you feel, did not get the attention they deserved when they came out... Games that are uknown to the masses of gamers and I want you to voice out why you think they need to be known.

I feel that Might and Magic (all of them) needs to be known. They are all good for their time but have just been lost to the past. The only one that I feel got attention was Dark Massiah, which might i say, is just a copy of Elder Scrolls Oblivion... All the old ones are better but just get ignored. I mention Might and Magic and people just go "oh what is that".

So please if anyone else has a game to mention, say why you think its good but you feel is ignored. =D

Comix Zone doesn't really get the credit it deserves. It's a fairly short game, clocking in at 3 stages with 2 acts apiece. Don't be deceived by the small numbers, because they're BIG stages, and what's more, the game is downright demonic in terms of difficulty.

If you're killed, that's it; Game over. No second chances. After you pass the first act of the first stage, there's a small chance you'll be granted a second chance when you die, but it's entirely random. That's as close as this game gets to a lives system.
Couple that with the fact that health pickups are extremely rare and really tough enemies, and you've got yourself one beast of a game.

Once you get used to it, though, the gameplay is immensely satisfying, and the visual approach of fighting your way through the panels of a comic book is quite charming. It's such a shame that this game is so overlooked.
