Well it's almost that time when both of the new motion control systems will be in the market, and I have yet to see many games that will convince the majority of current gamers to make the investment in these new peripherals. So I pose the question to you... no not you, the guy to your left... yeah you. What games will be the big sellers for the peripherals? Will it be the first party content or the third party?

I think that Kinect will either take off because of Dance Central, or Dance Central will be an utter failure because Kinect was priced too high.

As for move, I honestly don't see a huge adoption rate with the games we know now. I think it will be something not yet announced that will finally get it selling.

The dance game will be the biggy I reckon. If only because it's something that the Wii/Move can't do properly. Maybe a Time Crisis style game too, with the ducking and weaving possibilities would work as well.

But err, if the dance game does crap then Kinect will just bomb, imo.

I really feel like they're both going to bomb. Wii's the established motion controls system, so anyone that might be interested in them would already have a Wii for the gimmick, while Xbox or PS3 gamers won't be using motion controls on those systems because of the simplicity of a controller.

I'll make no secret of the fact I'm getting Kinect for Dance Central. It's a godsend for 30+ year old nerdy males with limited dance moves.

I don't see any good games, but maybe others do? Interesting question, I kind of want to see what others answer here.

Hard to say.
I honestly don't see Move selling well at all.
As for Kinect?
It has the potential to sell well, if the games that will use it can find a way to keep the controls feeling responsive, something hard to do with no controller.

The game called "Lower Price" might get me intersted in it as a toy for my daughter when she's a little older...

For Move it will be the support from AAA titles like Killzone Heavy Rain MAG etc...

And for Kinect...well if Dance Central doesn't rock sales then the thing is doomed. I heard there was a Sonic game coming though....yea

To those of you that think that price is the main object. What price range for each do you think would be better to get sales going?

Assuming you're talking about what will push Kinect and Move to the hardcore crowd:

Child of Eden for Kinect

Killzone 3 for Move, which will be released early next year. February i believe.

Well, 4 of Kinect's 15 launch titles are exercise games, while 2 are Dance games, and 2 are sports games. It's like Wii Shovelware all over again.

However, I must say... the sports titles look WAY better on Kinect than any of the motion control ones.... soccer actually looks like it would be fun.

The thing about Child of Eden is, it's multiplatform.

If anything sells Kinect, it'll be the dance game and the sports games.

Move'll sell a lot more to the hardcore crowd as well as having a lot to the casual crowd
