true, but then again think of what such beings were faced against. BSDs, umbrood lords, pattern spiders, NEXUS CRAWLERS! Mages have to deal with the technocracy, and hitmarks. Then there are antedelevian vampires, city princes. You faced some powerful enemies, but I still see your point. One problem our ST had was he was trying to balance all of us out, while still giving everybody something.
Now for one of my top moments. me and my friends are all playing mage. well we were fighting this werewolf who was as werewolves tend to do, soaking everything we threw at him. magic was getting us nowhere. So in desperation, one guy throws a rock. A completely ordinary rock. It knocks the werewolf unconscious, who we then finish off with a shotgun to the head.
Another favorite memory of mine is I we were playing a mixed group of a werewolf, a mage, a vampire, and I was a mokole (like a werewolf, but with a reptile animal form, and the hybrid form is an amalgamation of dinosaur and dragon.) Well I was helping the vampire attack a rival group of vamps, and I basically just bashed through the walls of the house, and the doorways. Imagine the horror and surprise of seeing an 800 pound pissed off dragon burst into your living room. chasing down and tearing through those vamps was fun!
Then there was the time we were all playing mage, and most of us played as ourselves as mages. Well one guy was crazy. These guys broke into his house, well we chased them out, with one lying helpless on his porch. So his guy puts on a hockey mask and takes a chainsaw to his gut! then this hippy was in his house, and somehow was in the shower, so his guy blows him away, and as he is burying him in the back, the character's dog jumps in the hole, and he buries the dog alive with the body. Although maybe it didn't help that playing a mind mage, I earlier read his thoughts and said "We are not the technocracy!" Oh and at a martial arts tournament all our chars were in, he went against a huge masked wrestler type guy, and, getting desperate, he poked out his eyes. That character was told not to come back. Oh, and he was also pulled over for driving on all 4 rims, while on speed. To top it off, when he finally paradoxed out, he melted into the floor of a hospital, taking a guy with him.
