If you're going for a sniper you should get one which is as hardly tuned as the place you use it allows for, otehrwise you'll be worth shit against people with full auto guns.
I've got a sniper airsoft (cause it was cheaper than a full auto assault rifle) and it more or less sucks, you don't really get the big range advatage unless it's tuned way harder than the full autos
Where i play 120M/s is max for non-sipers and 150M/s for snipers and mine is 135 :/ I hardly have any range advantage, and the precicion advantage is worth shit due to wind, and me having to "bolt it" for every shot, whereas the people with full auto assault rifles just spray and adjust.
So i'm gonna get a full auto rifle now instead.
OFc if you play with peopel with un-tuned guns you might have enough of a range advantage that it'll be worth it.
Just remember that small light (0.25-0.40gr)BB's are easilly puleld off course by wind, so bolt action snipers who shoots like 70 meters are hard to hit anything with, unless theres little to no wind.
I'd say just put a scope on an assault rifle instead... much better.
