Hey, guys. I posted here a few times before and acted like a total fanboy then. Sorry about that. It just got kind of...boring, I guess.

Anyway, I'm considering getting a PSP in two weeks. Which one should I get: the 3000 or the PSPGo? Will the 3000 still be available then or is Sony considering discontinuing it like they did the 1000 and 2000?

I've heard the PSPGo is essentially the same as the 3000 except it has no UMB drive and is smaller. Is that true?

I think it depends on what you want to do with it. You wanna play UMD games? Or buy your games from PSN? I'd say play games off UMD, it'll be cheaper cuz it's easier to get your hands on second hand games.

I personally only use my psp for watching movies on the train, but my psp is from 2005 ^^;;

Yeah, but do you think the 3000 will be available in two weeks? I don't know I've always kind of been out of the loop when it comes to handhelds.

Eh???? The psp 3000 is already out... I think you should do some homework, at least look on amazon to know that the console has been out for over a year >.>

ok, get a PSP 3000, get the largest memory card you can afford. Reason? You can download the UMD content to the memory card and play. You still need the UMD in the drive, but load times are faster! :D I did it for Dissidia and Gran Turismo and they both run really quickly on my 1001! =D have fun!
