Which Science Fiction Captain's crew would you be most terrified to be a part of?
Think of it like you're a grunt or low-level crew member, where would you NOT want to be.

I would say Admiral Akbar, considering how, despite his tremendous experience, he flew right into A TRAP!!! against the partially rebuilt death star and would have lost the war were it not for an amazing effort by retarded midget bears working with the ground team. His failure to spot a fairly obvious tactical ploy cost the lives of thousands of ship hands. I would have signed up with the empire had I known about such idiocy!

I want to say Red Dwarf assuming I died in the radiation leak.

Otherwise I would have liked to be on Red Dwarf

Easy, Kirk, Enterprise before the refit, red shirt. I'd decline the posting to that one

Well, it's either Moya (technically no captain, unless you count Pilot) due to the very high chance of your being horribly violently killed if you're not one of the original escapees (or even if you are).

Or it's Serenity, seeing as again there's a high chance of getting killed or eaten alive.

For best though it'd probably be Picard's Enterprise, just opt out of all away missions and the numbers say you've a pretty good chance of survivng and basking in a billion megawatts of reflected glory...

The original Enterprise from the Star Trek: TOS. Think about it, pretty much every away mission would be a death sentence.

Edit: damn, ninja'd

Aside from Kirk, I'd say Janeway - since Voyager is little more than a trashcan with warp drive.

The Nimbus from Futurama (it's somewhat sci-fi) because Zapp Branigan has a nasty habit of sending wave after wave of his own men to their grisly, horrible demise just so he can reap the glory.

Yet, they still get home after being blown up several times. I'd say that is an achievement. And not that many redshirts die.

In that case, we shall say it would be a hell to be on Janeway's ship because of poor and inconsistent writing. ZING!
I'd hate to be on the Operative's ship, from Serenity. The moral and ethical quandaries aside, it'd suck toward the end.
