Which State do we go by?

Ok, so, I'm a 16 year old boy, and I'm a closet homosexual. I have a secret boyfriend that lives in another state, and nobody knows about him. The problem is that I may or may not be a legal issue for him. See, my boyfriend is 19, and the age of consent in my state is 16, but in his it's 17. I never even considered this until a few weeks ago, and I need to know if there are any legal issues regarding me and him.

Just to be safe, wait till you are eighteen before y'all do the deed. That might be the best course of action.

I agree with The Man With the Soap (though you should ALWAYS agree with any man who has soap ), in these kind of circumstances playing it safe would probably be a good idea. Besides, a year isn't too long when put into context of the average human lifespan

Depends where you do the deed. If he comes to you then it's probably fine. If you go to his state then it's illegal. Also be aware that if you're crossing state lines, federal law applies, and transporting a minor under the age of 18 for the purpose of having a sex is a pretty serious offense.
