We've all played video games whose characters speak to us in some way. Whether they be the emotionally driven folks from many an RPG, the silent protagonist such as Link, or Gordon Freeman, or maybe it's the badasses like Marcus, or Dante (to go towards two different archetypes). Whatever it may be, we seem to pick out a character we relate to the most, and in turn enjoy the game just a bit more.

So, what character can you relate to the most, or feel shows traits that you seem to mimic?
Personally I consider myself Carmine from Gear of war because I do alot of stupid things that end up gtting me hurt (plus just like Carmine I get the feeling if I went to war i'd be voted most likely to get shot)

Just did a quick search, didn't find anything, so I think you'll be safe from the deja-nazis.

To be honest I'm probably Navi.
I talk way too much.

If I may... Because I feel this topic has some potential, allow me to restate the OP's question.

We've all played video games whose characters speak to us in some way. So, what character can you relate to the most, or feel shows traits that you seem to mimic?

And to answer that question... Well, honestly I'm not even sure, heh

The annoying sidekick that die from the first arrow or bullet shot. Usually from friendly fire. (<3 Carmine)

I'm the reckless loudmouth mage that burns things that get too close while squealing with child like joy.

Well... this depends. I would say Shepard from Mass Effect, the guy who can follow an order and still do what he wants, and who knows when to put the mission first, and when to put his friends and allies first. But then, I'm more the kind of person that would do that if he had the ability. For me, it's more an instance of I can follow what people tell me to do and still do it my way or do the things I want to do at the same time, and I can tell when to help my friends and when to help myself.

I can't think of any that really fit me. If anyone knows of a lazy, apathetic, smart ass, game character, let me know.

I wish I could remember his name and what game he was in, but I do remember a character like that. He was a bit of an anti-hero and it was definitely a Japanese game. Probably an RPG.

Remember in World of Warcraft you met that guy who lived in that cave and refused to indulge kids dressed up for halloween with anything but a bucket of egg?

No? Thats because they never made me into a character. I have two ways of dealing with people whose eyes are level with my groin and are asking for candy, and one is illegal and difficult to do with a few seconds notice. Hence, the egg bucket.

If i was to try and approximate myself in all my complexity (And i'm not a very complex person) to a rather ragged match in the gaming world. I would be Neo Cortex. Tries very hard all the time, but is undone constantly by a mouth-breathing retard who is just luckier and oddly more likable. And spins to get fruit out of crates. I hate those bastards.

The mysterious invisible car driver in Burnout: Paradise. I can never die, but I have to listen to DJ Atomica for the rest of my life. It's a curse.
Oooh, he's there... but where is he?

Well I took the DnD character quiz which says I am a Chaotic Evil Human Rogue/Wizard Multiclasser with terrible stats.
