I won't say Whitney Houston was a good person, and to say she took a LOT of drugs that were absolutely destroying her talent would be an understatement. However, it's sad when anyone dies that young, especially someone who had such a bright future at one point.
I recall her playing in the movie Waiting to Exhale. I guess she waited too long and paid the price.
