I'm going to wear a white button up shirt with a vest, a pocket watch, a wrench in my belt, and my top hat and say I'm steam punk. Really, it's just an excuse for me to wear the top hat.

I've made myself a (cheap-looking) cane similar to the one from Arkham City and I've bought a couple of green garments and sewn hand-made question marks all over them and I managed to find/make a domino mask with a unique design on it.

To continue my tradition of dressing as fictional characters using clothes that I wear every day, I'm gonna go as Claude from GTA III. I think I might take a bit of creative license with the shoes, but if I find a pair that fits the picture, I may get those. I've been meaning to replace my currently degraded tennis shoes anyway.

Frankly, we don't celebrate Halloween here in the Netherlands. A few parties and some events maybe but it is nothing compared to America. If I would dress up dress up though, it would either be the above or Harvey Dent "Two-Face"
I'm going in a Ratty looking gray cloak with a hell of alot of makeup to pas myself off as a ghost. I don't go trick or treeting anymore but I do like giving out the Candy and dressing up.
Harley Quinn, in her Arkham Asylum outfit, got the costume on order and it looks amazing, can't wait for it to arrive ^_^
although I don't disagree about hoodlums dressing up and cause trouble remark halloween has more to do with the UK then America... celts I think. If memory serves its from dressing up to disguise and hide from evil things at the end of the harvest because of all the blood that was shed from the killing of cattle and the like.
I'm going as Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly, complete with duster and gun holster. I don't think many of my friends will get it, but what the hell. At the very least I can say I'm a cowboy.
For the past 2 Halloweens, I've been a hospital patient (first time was a gallbladder attack, second time I was in the psych ward the whole time). If I can find a nice pink dress, I'll be Carrie - cover myself in blood and whatnot.
Either the Tenth or the Fourth Doctor. Ten because he was my Doctor, and David Tennant is just generally awesome, Four because I've got the hair for it and finding a color-blocked scarf shouldn't be too difficult.
