i love it when your on Facebook or Mypspace and get added by a randomer.

they always ask...who are you...can they read? they must of looked at my name while adding me, so y add me if they don't know me? lol =P

hehe its usually quite amusing though, and you can meet nice people...

but my question is...ever get a Muppet adding you and saying something completely stupid/funny?

I get added by random people...
It makes me wonder... what the hell is going on, and who are they?
Most random adds I get are on XBL...
They just add me for my gamerscore, I think...

Nope I'm not on the Book O' Faces, despite my sister's best efforts to entice me into that world. I'd probably join if I could set my status to read, "I'm doing the same shit I was five minutes ago, don't you have something better to do?":p

Damn, thought this thread was going to be about The Who :(

I never get added by randomers, because I'm ugly/ aggressive/ boring, probably a combination of all 3.

Well, sometimes I do, but I dont accept. I dont know them, and I dont care to know them, so consequently I have no one on my FB that I dont know in real life.

I have been added by people on here though, and I'm more than happy to accept, because most people here are pretty sound :D

I get added quite a bit on PSN but not as much on here, usually I add them. Although the strange thing is one of the people who added me on PSN turned out to live next door to me, although I don't talk to him. And only one person has engaged with conversation with me.

Plus if these randomers ever do cause me bother, then I'll just delete them. I have yet to meet this problem on the Escapist as your all awesome. Although I've faced this problem online, but it's only ever happened twice.

I get added by about 10 people a day on here.

It both makes me happy and worries me.
Look! Many numbers near your name! You must be of importance! Friends pl0x?

OT: I want to know how they find me, and until they explain I just decline everything.

Whenever I decide to venture forth into the land of online gaming via Xbox Live or World of Warcraft, I always get the 'Are you really a girl?' question, followed closely by a friend's request.

I have yet to accept any of these.

What is it with you boys and boobs?

I've gotten added by some completely random girl.

After I moved back to Atlanta I still hadn't changed my location and what I was doing so I got added by some girl who attends the college I was going to. Turns out she just broke up with her BF. My guess is that she was looking for a rebound considering the number of other guys she added at the same time.

who, who. who, who.

just who the fuck are you.

sorry, i really love that song, but yeah, that shit happens to me all the time. What i get a lot more of, however, is facebook suggesting people i have never heard of or have absolutely no connection to. It suggested a girl the other day who's only connection was that she lived in an adjacent state...

And well that you have not. I've found that the majority of guys on XBL and WoW never talk to girls in real life, and if they find a girl that likes anime/gaming/etc., they are instantly smitten and declare their undying love.

It's why I don't hang around overly-nerdy people too much. Also, they think Febreze substitutes for a shower and deodorant.

And they tend to yell "EPIC FAIL LOLOLOLOLZ" a lot.

P.S. I'm a guy, btw. A single guy who likes to be thoughtful in liking girls, not just dropkick "she likes anime WE SHALL BE MARRIED."

I actually don't send out friend requests. If somebody sends one my way, and I feel it's justified, I'll add them.
Facebook is my favourite for people adding me. I have no troubles declining any request sent my way.

Do you really want the answer to that?
Yeah! I don't understand the fascination with them! Then again, I've been around them for 25 years, so maybe I'm just used to them. Their magical appeal has worn off.

You shall do well with that frame of mind. The showering thing also helps.
