On good days I get compared to (pre-'Without you I'm nothing' era) Brian Molko, which I take as a compliment.

The other day I got compared to Vince Noir (Noel Fielding) from the Mighty Boosh though. Not entirely pleased with that one (although maybe I should be)?

I've never been told that I resemble someone famous, but there's no denying who my father is. Seriously, looking at pictures of him in his twenties... looks just like me. Or I look just like him. You know what I mean.

When I had long hair, a lot of people said I looked like Jim Morrison (Lead singer of the Doors). Then I put on weight and people started to say that I looked like Chris Robertson (Lead singer/guitarist of Black Stone Cherry). Bad times.

When I was in elementary school I was called "Mario" because of my curly hair and the fact that I loved Nintendo. It was pretty much the only gaming system at the time and I had a Mario backpack and lunch box. A few of the kids insisted that I even wore red shirts and overalls all the time. I may have wore red shirts but I didn't even own overalls.

Now I mostly am told I resemble Heavy D.
