Especially:

1) Attention whores

2) Internet celebrates

3) Pro Gamers

Celebrities are supposed to be well known; I and the vast majority of the general public (I'm willing to bet) could not name a Pro Gamer.

Socialites (Paris Hilton, etc.) do not.

Actors and the like do, because it's a part of their job; if you act for millions of people, you're going to be known by millions of people. And many of those millions are going to want to know everything about you.

I think the real question is how many of these famous people actually deserve all the money they have gotten simply for being famous.

Seriously, there are doctors and scientists out there trying to cure cancer, yet many of these have to beg for financial support to further their research. All while famous people spend millions just to throw parties.

It's quite sickening when you think about it.

But then again, that's capitalism for you. The system of government prioritizing what some people "want", not what they actually NEED...

I always thought that part of the pay for scientists should be really hot women fucking their brains out each time they discover something.

But I've always been a fanboy for science.

You think XBoX fanboys are a pain in the ass...get me going on astrophysics.

As for who doesn't deserve fame...Megan Fox...and most sports players.

I know people will disagree with me, but as far as I'm concerned they are just getting paid a bunch of money to hang out with buddies and play a game.

I understand the reasoning, but it still bothers me. Very few sports players are better than any average enthusiast who spends a similar amount of time training.

While it's a better question, my question will bring more answers for us to look at and agree with them.

I don't know. I feel like most of the people who are deserving of their fame we could all agree on.

I mean, are there actually people out there who think that Bruce Campbell, Ron Perlman, and say, Orson Welles, don't deserve any recognition?

I have the first book on a shelf behind me right now. It's not because I like it, it's because I'm afraid to get Eragon all over my hands.

Yeah...to be fair, he was just a teenager when he wrote the first, so I picked up the second and third saying "hey, a few years have passed, maybe this guy learned how to write?" Holy fuck...even worse.

He has no sense of "okay, maybe I should trim this down a bit?" so his books end up needlessly long, with weird ass Elf-Pubes scenes (I'm not joking...he gets naked with an elf, and checks out his groin). The plot is copied almost directly from Star Wars, and is simply transplanted to Middle Earth. The characters are shit (Arya is a complete Mary Sue)...I could go on for pages about how horrendously ass these books are.

God dammit, his fame is so undeserved.
