Even people like Paris Hilton, who might not deserve her money, got it from somewhere. The Hilton family certainly deserves the money. Hilton created it. Without him, that wealth would not have existed. If she's just a bad descendant, history will zone her out in favor of those who use that money productively. And, if no one uses that money productively, eventually the fortune will dry up. Money is not a stagnant value. It has to be maintained, and a moron can't hold on to it forever.
I don't have a problem with Miley Cyrus or any other Disney lunatic. They're meant for CHILDREN. That's what people seem to forget. Sure, she has no talent. Neither did the actors on Power Rangers, but I effing loved that show.
Everyone's said the OP's question is faulty, so I'll throw in my alternate question: What do you think is worthy of fame?
I, unfortunately, can't actually post anything directly on topic, because no one pops to my head. Even those I dislike, I admit they have some base for fame (I tried very, very hard not to same "claim to fame").

He then goes on to become probably the most widely known person on the planet until round and about the time the first paparazzo took a snapshot of the first celebrity.
If anyone goes around proclaiming themselves as the son of God today, they'd be locked away in an institution. But this guy is now worshipped by about a quarter to a third of all people alive period. Why?
