Wow I found this by accident and it sums up what I'm feeling right now for the teenage years and I was wondering how many people really feel like this or is it like a select thing. This my be the generation of depression being normal. Just wondering what you guys think?

Take control of your life. Stop looking at the insecurities and worries. Assuming you live in your parents house still and they support you, feed you. Start finding things you like to do/ want to do to be productive in your life. Learn a skill, make something, hell bake a cake. Do it now or you are going to find yourself wishing you should have done something when you had no "real" responsibilities living with your parents. Because when you have to start taking on those responsibilities, what time you think you will have wanting to do something?

Maybe when I was younger I might have felt this. I was really angsty back in the day, mostly because I couldn't get laid. I didn't worry about the future that much though.

Take solace, my man. Life almost always gets better, and these sorts of future worries don't actually pan out in this way.

Yeah I felt that way a few years ago, but now that I can actually take charge and control a few things in my life it gets better as I go along

That's one of the most depressing videos I've ever seen, and no, I never felt that way.

Find something to do.

Whatever you do, don't start rationalizing your life with Nine Inch Nails.

Stop acting depressed and your problems will go away. Just go for a walk in the woods. It'll clear your head. Go for a bike ride. Hell, just sit around at a local park.

That's what I should do more of. And you should too.

So make some friends, go for a walk, and as said before, don't listen to NIN while depressed.
Trent Reznor will make you feel like destroying a kitten orphanage.
