Who else is putting off buying Skyrim?

...It's funny, I've been living in my own place for two years now; I receive a fixed allowance from my parents while I study, and from that time I've had to manage my finances effectively, like a real grown-up has to ha ha...the funny part is, the only thing that's taught me any sort of fiscal responsibility is knowing what games are coming out and when ...so yeah, I'm sorry but no, Im not putting this off, this has been worked out months in advance...Exams finish on the first, Uncharted 3 is the day after, Skyrim after that, Saints Row next, finished off with Assassin's Creed...

Lucky bastard Exams finish on the 14th for me, Skyrim comes out on the 11th. Best thing? My laptop fan has died and I may only get one by the 25th. Thats two weeks of holding Skyrim but not able to play it

I'm down to my last exam before my university degree and I'm likely to wrap it up in the next week or two, so no, I won't be putting off Skyrim. It WILL interfere with my graduation paper, but that's hardly something to be rushed anyway, so it's all good.

Yep! probably wont buy it until next year and i'll probably buy it second hand too, building a new PC at Xmas so Skyrim will be one of the first games I play on it.

I am putting off buying Skyrim for a while. I put off Oblivion until just recently, and I bought the GOTY edition with the DLC.

I'll probably do the same for Skyrim because I'm not that big into Elder Scrolls. I'm sure it will be awesome, but I'll wait on it

Soooo I have been looking forward to the release of Skyrim since it was first announced but i am also currently In the middle of a very harsh semester at school. So to insure I don't fail half my classes in the last stretch I'm am making a personal decision to abstain from buying Skyrim for at least another month. I'm just curious if anyone else is being forced to make this tragically beneficial decision for whatever reason.

probably get some time at christmas, but im not sure so probably buy it im under a very similar situation.

Apart from flight sims (and a little minecraft), I've been off of gaming for quite a while. My 360 fried itself and I never replaced it.

But Skyrim, fucking hell I'm hyped! I know it will have limitations, which is why I'm playing on PC. I just recieved a new TV today so I can wire up my PC and enjoy it in 40" awesomeness.

I wasn't going to buy it at launch, but it was like a switch being flicked in my head one day, and all of a sudden I was really looking forward to it!

It's almost inevitable that people are going to rush out and buy Skyrim on the day of release, and over the following week there will be much bitching and complaining about bugs followed by a few weeks of consistent whining and while gamers impatiently wait for that first patch. There will also be people complaining about the vanilla how 'this part is too easy' or 'this thing is game breaking', which for us PC users the modding community will quickly jump on to correct.

So yeah I'm not going to rush out to buy it right away, gonna wait for some patches and some mods to come out first. Don't know if I want to wait for the standard Game of the Year edition though.
