Ok so I notice that more than a lot of people I know bash the Gamecube. The biggest reason for this being that it had no good games. To this I call shinanigans. I freaking loved Smash Bros., Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, and Wind Waker. I even liked Mario Sunshine and that Starfox game with the dinosaurs. Don't ask me why I liked them but I did. So I wanna know, did anyone like something from the Gamecube?

I loved Mario Kart and Mario Party, and a bunch of other games I no longer remember. Hardcore gaming FTW

'Shenanigans'

Sorry I just needed to correct that...

I didn't own one but the times I played one it was great fun and quite ahead of its time.

It just didn't have the support of the PS2.

I thought it was good, but not nearly as good as the 64 or SNES.

It did have it's fair share of great games like Melee and Paper Mario, but what I really liked from it was the Metroid Prime games.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requim, was one of the best; and unfortunately under-rated, games of it's day. Only on Gamecube.

I liked my little Gamecube but sadly I didn't get much use out of it's exclusives. Twin Snakes being the only one to come to mind. I did play a hell of a lot of Time Splitters 2 on it though, so I'll always have fond memories of it.

The Gamecube, for all it's bizarritude and nonexistent internet support, has some of the best couch multiplayer games of all time. It's a good system.

Wind Waker, Double Dash, and Super Mario Sunshine were all great games. I got the Gamecube for Christmas in that $99 sale and never looked back.
As a side note, can you imagine a console selling for $99 these days?

I loved the GameCube. It was my first console ever and it had some really great games on it. Why would anyone hate it?

I still don't get the immense amount of hate for The Gamecube, I mean it's not like it was bad or anything, it just lacked good exclusive games, which even then is an exaggeration.

Nintendo was of course making a lot of good games for it, then there's "Eternal Darkness," can't for get that one and...

Um...

...

Well, shit.

Edit: "Viewful Joe."

Um...

I loved it, but that could just be the nostalgia talking.
It didn't have many games but the ones it did have were awesome: Star Fox, SSBM, Luigi's Mansion....

I like my Gamecube, it's a really good system, with no arm swinging action.
It had some really good games too.
Too bad they stopped making games for it.

I did not like the gamecube itself, but it had a nice library. I still have some of the games.

Hmm...Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Wind Waker, Skies of Arcadia, Tales of Symphonia, Smash Brothers Melee, Metroid Prime, Pikmin, Baten Kaitos, Soul Calibur 2, others I'm forgetting...

Yeah, I'd say I liked the console.

People bash the 'cube? Morons. It was a great console. Though I have to admit, the first time I ever unpacked mine, the controller sat in the palm of my hand and my reaction was "WTF, they expect me to play with this? Do they think I have hands the size of a Barbie doll?"

As always with Nintendo controllers, though, it turned out to be brilliant once you got used to it.

Don't forget the brilliant remake of Resident Evil! For a console that people kept calling childish, it sure had some good horror games...

Rogue Leader, one of the best non-RPG Star Wars games ever made. An absolute bastard to earn all the medals on, though.

I loved the GC. RE4, Super Smash Bros., Super Mario Sunshine, Star Fox: Adventures (yeah, I liked it too), Metroid Primes 1&2, Metal Arms?

There were a lot of good games for that system.
