Who is the most powerful superhero?

Out of all the comic books there are, who do you think is the most powerful?

I've heard someone here mention the flash because his infinite mass punch and his ability to control every molecule in his body.
I've also been told about the sentinel and and the black bolt, both extremely powerful mutants/heroes/whatever.
So who do you think reigns supreme guys?

Why, whoever is most popular at the time, of course! There is no defence against plot armour.

Personally I would say the Flash, as you have stated, as his speed is rediculous, even compared to the other speed superheroes.

In before Dr. Manhatten, (he was designed to be overpowered, I don't think that counts.)

Batman. He has the coolest super power by far. He's rich.

Think about it, spiderman goes out beats up a few baddies but he has too get home at a reasonable time because he needs to go to work in the morning. Batman? He owns his own company he does not need to work. So Batman can easily stay out longer and save the city, while someone such as spiderwman needs to get go to bed earlier.

For more normal characters, you have had The Sentry, Ghost Rider, Sorcerer Supreme (whichever one), Captain Universe... all of whom are intensely powerful, but usually have a reason NOT to use those powers. Mephisto is probably more powerful than that, as he can rewrite time.

So... in the Marel Universe, it goes something like this:

One Above All
Death
Beyonder
Mephisto
Sorcerer Supreme
The Sentry
--various Gods--
Ghost Rider
and then probably Galactus or Thanos...

Most powerful is probably someone like Doctor Manhattan, who can basically reshape all of reality on a whim.

However, as the popular opinion goes, give Batman a week and he'll be able to take out anyone. The man has several plans devised to take out Superman, who is one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe. He may not be the most powerful, but power doesn't necessarily translate to use. Superman is technically more powerful, but he has been shown repeatedly to deliberately hold back.

Batman is the best superhero by far but the question is who is the most powerful.

Guys like Wolverine, Dr. Manhattan, and of course Superman come to mind.
