This is Commander Shepard to me. The default appearance that bio-ware created. I play every game of Mass Effect 1 thru 3 with this is Shepard because he is Shepard.

Female shepard ftw =P
For some reason I love to play female characters in RPG's. Not sure what that says about me.

I really can't get a good picture of my Shepards, but my male Shepard was meant to look like me but with a more military edge (short brown hair, brown eyes, a little facial hair). While that may not sound too different than Bioware's version, they looked rather different. Anyways, my female Shepard looked like a mix of Latin American and European American.

Regarding personality, my male Shepard was more laid back, very affectionate, and often took the Paragon route. My female Shepard was more up-tight (i.e. military-like), had a cold distance from her squad regardless of doing what needed to be done, and was a near even mix between Paragon and Renegade. Overall, my male Shepard was more of a mix between logic and emotion, while my female Shepard was duty-bound and rarely let emotions drive her decisions.

In the end, I preferred my male Shepard, but that was largely because he was really just me in the Mass Effect universe. My female Shepard was one that I was making up and putting very little of myself into.

Oh, and as far as class, goes, my male Shepard was an Engineer and my female Shepard was a Vanguard. That may also be why I preferred my male Shepard, since Engineer is my favorite class in the game.

Ta-da!

One Zoya Shepard. Vanguard. Colonist. Sole Survivor. Paragon with a small dash of renegade. Attempts negotiation whenever possible. Has an aggressive streak but generally keeps a lid on it. Is frightened by the power and lack of accountibilty that her position gives her. Believes the strong, able and fortunate have a moral duty to protect and help those less so. Seems to have a bit of a samaritan complex, although she would never admit it. Also, a definite penchant for the colour blue.

I rock the normal Shepard. I like the way he looks and his voice just fits that face. I'm playing default female Shepard as well.

My male Shepard is John and is always a soldier, aka the boring class. My female is Jane and an Engineer. Both are paragon, but they will pick different endings. Female will synthesize and Male has destroyed.

Well, I have no pictures, but I played a male black Shepard who wore black shades (mod) and just had this fucking Blade-esque look to him. Played him half Paragon/half Renegade and have a serious business attitude (so no romance at all), which suited him well. Pretty damn cool, I must say.

My first playthrough of the game, I played a male Russian Shepard with blonde hair. Tried to get a bit of Spetsnaz vibe to him, but it didn't work out as I ended up playing it pure Paragon. He romanced Ashley in the first game, and Liara in the third. I realised the romances were pretty terrible though, so I'll never be doing them again, haha.

I consider the Blade-Shepard to be my personal "canon" one. :D

EDIT: Actually, decided to get into the game and take a shot anyway. He just looks that cool. Had to do it in Omega too for that true Blade-vibe! (btw, Garrus is totally thinking "What the fuck is he doing?")

No pics of Russian Shepard though. Those save files are long gone.

I've got two actually my first one looks a lot like Weir from SG:A with long black hair and grey eyes. The other one is blonde with brown eyes with the short spiky hair cut.

My Shepard always ended up looking almost but not quite entirely like Mickey Ward during his heyday. He was a pragmatic paragon. By that I mean that sometimes a bullet is simply be best solution to a problem you're going to find. Honor and decency mean little when you're dealing with thieves, slavers, and eldrich space monsters.

My Shep was always a female one. Looks varied but short hard mostly, take command type. I wanted a more interesting leader/herp/protagonist. I'm especially sick of male leads in shooter games so it was a nice change and made mass effect much more entertaining for me.

Female Shepard.

When stock came in for the game at work. I made up the display copies and reversed the covers on most to have female Shepard facing out instead of male Shepard.

No picture, but for a brief description: Jack Shepard is blonde with a goatee and kind of a big-ish nose.

Anyway...

Jack is a soldier, and mostly a Paragon with an occasional Ren streak whenever I felt it was appropriate. Really, he just tries to do whatever he thinks is right.
