Ross Noble, he's fantastic. I could watch him all day.
Second to him would be the 3 great Irish comedians: Dara O' Briain, Dylan Moran and Ed Byrne

George Carlin. Not only is he extremely funny but he's also really intelligent. I have some of his stand up shows and even a few of his audio books on my ipod, great stuff.

No American comedians hold a candle to the UK's.

Michael McIntyre, Russell Howard and Frankie Boyle to name a few.
