The first music I ever listened to was my parents music, probably the Rolling Stones or Supertramp. The first album I ever actually owned was the Beatles Revolver on cassette. The first CD? Gosh, probably Automatic For the People by REM.

The first band I ever found on my own, and fell head over heels in love with was Rage Against the Machine. No joke.

Probably Snoop Dogg back when he was still rolling around with Dr. Dre. I was probably like, 4. That sounds about right. Got me int Hip Hop.

And, thanks to my Mom, probably Alanis Morrisette.

As for bands that I followed alot, it'd be like, Gorillaz or Blink 182. Maybe Linkin Park when I was around 10 and started getting into music. I've grown up past the third, but I still ove the firs two, and Snoop.... and the occasinal Alanis.

Either Beatles or Stones, I can't remember which. I had the good fortune of having a father keen on showing his son what good music should sound like.
