I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but I just beat a boss in a game called Astro Boy: Omega Factor in hard difficulty, which took me around 5 hours. I'm ecstatic!!! I just laughed and felt so great when Deadcross gave a final grunt and the victory music played!

So, what has been the boss or game that you have beaten that made you feel this way?

OMG!!!!!!!!! I love your picture. Oh, yeah, uh... I guess the boss in inFAMOUS. He wasn't that hard, he just kind of took a lot of time, and was a total dick, so I enjoyed beating him, even though he was me... Wierd game. Loved it, though.

Finally beating Terra in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix +. He was nearly impossible to beat abd I got extremely lucky on some instances.

Any fight that lasts for more than 30 mins straight, without game over screens or intercessions. Like the last hunt in FF12.

5 staring free bird on expert, not really a boss but i said it anyway
I had this moment too. I didn't even think I was close to a 5 star (stupid zig-zags!), but there it was. I took a picture and posted it on my facebook. I'm such a dork.

My brother had a moment like this once that I recall very fondly. We were playing Oddball on Halo 2 and he was literally 1 second away from the win, but every time he got near the skull someone would steal it, snipe him, or blow him up with a rocket. This went on for like ten minutes of real time as the rest of us racked up some more time with the skull. He finally picked it up, thus winning, and he screamed like a little girl then jumped up and down on our friend Brian, who was racing him for the skull.

Well yeah, he is especially annoying when you fight him with good karma. Mainly because you don't get the emperor lightning so you actually have to take a second to aim at him.

Btw, to any one who has the arch blades DLC, is it helpful in the final fight. I am going though on my evil karma play through and was wondering if I should just finish it first or get the DLC.

Anyway, back to the op, I guess it would have to be the final boss(es) in Golden Sun.
As if they weren't tough enough on their own after you defeat them initially, they then fuse into a two headed dragon that is twice as tough.
Plus I never got Ivan's ultimate weapon, why did they make it so annoying to get?

Not a boss, but I earned the Little Rocket Man achievement in Half-Life 2: Episode Two. The sad thing is, I had to do it twice because I forgot to close the rocket door at the end the first time.

When I beat a very hard siege mission in X-COM with flying aliens which shot rockets and threw grenades all the time. I had to use all my cunning and logic to beat them.

Ruby Weapon in FF7
That and Emerald. I had, through curious strategies, figured this out one day. We all know the damn Weapon's abilities and stuff (like how Emerald punishes you for having Materia or Ruby sucks away two of your characters right off). So, I developed a strategy that is largely passive on Emerald that relies mostly on Limit Breaks and allowing it the first moves. That took a while, but it ever so gloriously worked. And Ruby Weapon? He can be frozen by Hades.
