Great shout. And if it wasn't for Tommy Vercetti, I'd agree with you. Claude was strangely a decent character, mainly because his blank muteness allowed the player to project onto him whatever personality they liked. And Tenpenny was just a bad-ass.

I'm going to cast my vote for Roman Bellic. The guy remains positive but realistic about life, and has his priorities right. He seems like the best guy ever to hang out with or go trolling for women, and I really get tired of Niko countering every positive thing he says.

I see that [user]Sansha[/user] has already beaten me to it, but yeah, <a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_L._Jackson>Samuel L Jackson. To make the character even better, Tenpenny's sidekick, Pulaski was voiced by the late great <a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Penn>Chris Penn. Now that was one hell of a pairing. Whoever made the casting calls on those two deserves a medal.

as far as protagonists its CJ a smidgen infront of Tommy vercetti

but when it comes to other characters San Andreas is the clear winner with Wu Zi Mu, Ceasar, sweet, Mike Torino, Ken Rosenburg, and who could forget the truth. or Sam L. Jackson as tenpenny

Yeah, i reckoned that arab guy in EFLC is pretty loyal and cool to Luis as well
