Why all the hate for activision?

When black ops 2 came out I complained about the probation for leaving matches early and told activision that I would not buy the DLC maps unless they withdrew probation. Probation went away for months, so I bought the DLC maps, now probation is back and I feel deceived, seems like shady business and I feel like you stole $50 from me.
It is my XBOX360 and LIVE account, my internet connection and my game disc; I'll leave when and how I want and activision feels they need to punish me for it by putting me on probation when I log back on. What they really need to do is stop using customers connections for lobby hosting and improve their lobby process completely.

My personal reasons are this:
-Their money grabbing tactics.
-How they ruin what could have been very good games.
-How the top are basically all just rich people wanting to earn as much cash as possible, not being remotely interested in games apart from how much the industry can earn them.

OT- I think it's cause of their DLC practices. Charge like crazy and screw us gamers. Hey! It makes 'em a profit.
I personally haven't liked them since Bobby Kotick said he wanted to take the fun out of making games.
