I don't hate 4chan. Almost feels supernatural in a way, like a sleeping dragon. Happy enough if you let it go about it's way, since were you to attract its attention, it'd fuck you up.

I don't, it's a place for people to unleash their true selves. Not worrying about finding friends, family, social rules, the law in many cases and it's free

Not many websites can claim this and that is why 4chan gets a lot of respect from me, it's freedom of speech actually being used. The people on their aren't freaks, they're people just like you or me being as moronic, angry, horny etc as they like because they have nothing to lose

Even if you don't go to /b/ the other forums are useful such as /fit/ and /g/

In recent years, the janitors and mods of 4chan have been heavily clamping down on that. You're more likely to see goatse or 2girls1cup than you are child porn.

Most of the people assume the worst of 4chan because they don't see what the other boards produce out in public.
2 weeks ago, my bestfriend (who enjoys several boards of 4chan including /b/ on occasion) met a random girl who asked if he used the internets at all. He said "yes", and she asked if he was on 4chan at all.
Both of us: "wtf? A girl that knows what 4chan is? No wai!"
And apparently she goes on the cooking board of 4chan?

I never knew such a board existed, but it is apparently really win.

Hate on /b/ as much as you want, but keep in mind it is random.
