I get it that places like E.A are horrible companies, but some of the people there, like Bioware and Viseral, do nothing but create amazing games, listen to fan's, and respect the gaming community as a whole to almost jesus like standards...
HAHAHAHAHA. I'm not familiar with "Viseral" but Bioware? Please.

when they decide to try something new or mix up something in one of their franchises. Agree or disagree? You think gamers complain about the dumbest things? Do they act like spoiled, insecure brats when something changes?
Oh whatever. I'm so exhausted with this. Didn't people get this out of their system back in March? Why is this a thing, this year? Like the idea of pissy consumers JUST occurred to us, and we're SHOCKED.
I think we covered this shit then, but a recap since you're obviously late to the party.
1. There is no "gamers".
2. Whether or not a complaint is "dumb" is highly subjective. I imagine you complain about things, from time to time. You're probably convinced your own complaints are highly cogent. Others probably think they're spurious as hell.
3. Complaining and ranting gives people a dopamine hit. Getting angry gets them high. It's why people come to the forums to pick fights with "entitled" or "spoiled" gamers, too, Captain Hypocrite.
4. Developers need to stop throwing down the sad artist card every time someone calls them out on some bullshit. This industry is a BUSINESS, and they've been running it like a business for many years now. Very, very rarely does a game come along that feels like a genuine work of art or labor of love, as opposed to a PRODUCT. Dealing with customer dissatisfaction with your PRODUCT is part and parcel of being in business and selling things to people for profit.
And frankly, even if they do want to play the art card, criticism of your art comes with the territory, too. If you're selling the fucking things, doubly so. And they don't need you to champion their cause for them. They have IGN, Gamespot and 100 other websites on the PR payroll waiting to pen another missive about "gamer entitlement complex" then next time a game launches with $50 of day one DLC or more bugs than content.
Yeah people can be whiny little shits when games don't turn out EXACTLY how they want. They engage in wild hyperbole because it gets them threadviews and because their righteous indignation is giving them a fix. Depending on your mood and what's concerning you at the time, it might seem incredibly stupid. Like if you just found out you have cancer, maybe you don't care so much that EA wants to charge you $10 for an extra alien in your crew.
But this "oh won't someone think of the corporations!" nonsense is deeply, deeply retarded. They are selling products to you for MONEY. This is quid pro quo. They are not doing you favors. You are their customer, not their friend. Stop over identifying FFS.
