Games for Nintendo consoles are split into 3 price levels.
Those are (using Mid-European prices on DS games):
- Indie (5 to 10 ?)
- Low Budget (10 to 30 ?)
- Triple-A (30 to 40 ?)
Those *do* resemble the quality most of the time, sadly, and that has burnt into a large chunk of their customers. That means, if they lower the price, they place it in a bracket people simply believe isn't worth it. In return they lose customers AND profit.
Safe to say, the nintendo videogame market is broken.
