Why exactly? That was one thing the game had going for it; it passed a "boundary" that seems to be taboo in today's society. Is it not okay for a game to have a message rather than just being mindless?
1. There's no message in being able to play as terrorists in a video game.

2. Pushing the envelope for the sake of pushing the envelope is NOT admirable or worthy of any kind of praise.

I don't get it either.

Personally I thought having the Taliban in the first place was a bad idea.

Balderdash. MoH never had a message. It was a cheap publicity stunt, nothing more, nothing less.

Your response makes it seem like you care about this subject.
I'm guessing you're on the side of this battle of the stupid that wanted them kept in game.
Well yes, but my point is thats it's more of a non-issue. Should it be a faux paus that the Taliban are in a game? Not really. Is it a massive failing on EA to cave to the pressure to remove them? No, it is not. People are just bitching about things for the sake of it.

I think generally its something like:

"EA haven't got the balls to stand by something they created, and have caved in to pressure from a tiny, tiny minority who would not even think about ever buying a video game."

so yes, EA no balls and afraid to stand up for their medium and in turn treating all video game fans like little children who can't be trusted with real scissors (or a digital representation of scissors)

Right. In other words, people who 100% don't understand the situation.

I don't like it for other reasons.
It's pretty much like COD, but with slower, more tedious gameplay and a slightly better leveling system.
