Escapist: I don't know, I just find it easy to get my thoughts down here and there's a variety of people here. And I like that I get notified every time someone replies to me, something that is lacking on so many other forums. I don't have time to go back through my posts and see if people replies.

Room: I'm in my basement. My computer, Xbox, TV, musical instruments, and pretty much every other form of indoor entertainment and activity is down here. It's sort of my lair, I have my privacy here, people don't bother me, I can play loud music and the sound doesn't carry that much upstairs. And the router is right next to me, so I can piss off my little brother anytime I want by unplugging the ethernet chord that goes to his room.

Country: I was born here. I don't have the means to go anywhere else, and if I did, I really didn't know where I would go. I have friends, family and my life here, and I guess right now I'm not brave enough to leave it behind in search of something really adventurous and different. I wouldn't mind travelling and living somewhere really interesting, somewhere that could really brighten up my boring suburban life, but I don't know where that place is, and I would miss my friends.

I'm at the Escapist because it's far friendlier than the rest of the internet, at college my parents are paying good money to make me into a doctor, and in the US because I don't have much reason to move away.
