So its a teacher who is a virgin and wants to but wont, a 10 year old who wants to but cant and is being groomed to marry her second cousin, who is her legal guardian because her mom died while in a relationship with him, and shes a total sociopath on top of it. Reiji, Rin's guardian, was in a relationship with Rin's mother (his cousin) after she took him in when his parents (including his drunk, abusive father) died in a car accident. Then she died. He's now raising Rin to marry her when she turns 16, which is part of the cause of her overly sexual behavior. This is treated as really fucking bad, and after Aoki finds out, he tries his best to prevent it, although there's not too much he can do (besides end up really annoying Reiji). Mimi (the other girl, glasses) is pretty much caught up in her friends' insane lives, and ends up having a crush on Reiji.
It's actually a pretty psychological series (especially the manga) that takes a more realistic approach to things, including the girls growing up. 2 to 3/5s of the main cast are fucked up in their own ways (your mileage may vary on Kuro, but Reiji and Rin are seriously fucked up). Rin caused their last teacher to be hospitalized by harassing him (he actually deserved it, he would cuss out and insult the students), once almost murdered another teacher for having a thing for Aoki (not treated as a good thing at all), has sexually blackmailed Aoki (read: acted like he was molesting her and threatened to scream if he didn't do what she wanted, which actually backfired a few times) multiple times (this is treated as a very bad thing) and has admitted she can just turn off her emotions and do awful things(meaning that the 10 year old girl is a sociopath, nice job Reiji).
Reiji, well, he runs a very list of things that make him an awful human being. Leaving hickies on Rin, raising her to marry her, having a relationship with his own cousin, being a total asshole and a bit more. Both the anime and the manga hint that Aoki might possibly have the same feelings about Rin as she does for him (the anime a bit more) but has shown that he is very unwilling to act on them if he does, especially since it would make him like Reiji (who he hates).
Oh, and Rin has a teddy bear that looks suspiciously like a yellow pedobear. Seeing as the thing has an entire part where first a secret school board causes problems, then a 4chan expy discovered it, it was most likely intentional. Oh, and Aoki was early on revealed to be a virgin. Kuro mocks him for this constantly. All three of the girls are both a bit mature but still somewhat naive and innocent. Holy shit, I just wrote a wall of text explaining Kodomo no Jikan. My day couldn't get any weirder.
