Why Did Bullet Witch Suck?

Bullet witch was an example of a "face only a mother could love" kind of game, in that nomatter what else one could say about it, it was just too ugly and generally underfunded/poorly designed to work. Everything just looked and felt cheap beyond belief.
Honestly I may have been willing to keep playing anyways since it was just a rental, but I sincerely felt that my xbox was about to choke to death if I forced it to keep running the game, it just looked like it was dying.
Edit: Honestly I have no idea what my first line was attempting to convey. Go ahead and just attribute that to 4Am derpness. <_<.

That's why I thought, too. Then I started the game. Sex only sells if it's done right, which was not the case with Bullet Witch. Sometimes guns and magic need to be kept separate from each other.
The main character had a fantastic design, but the developers put more time into making her look pretty and much less time on level design and gameplay.
