In some online steam matchs,I was playing L4D,on Expert,me (Francis) and some dude playing Louis.

Of course he had some mod to scream pills here,and ran and took every pill bottle,ate it,and repeated.Naturally he see's a bottle of pills on top of a truck in the middle of the street.Runs into plain view,gets pounced out of our sight,and we run to save him.Were ambushed by a boomer and Zoey AI is dragged off into oblivion and dies.

I was playing the L4D2 demo, and it was down to me and one other guy playing Coach. A Boomer had appeared near me, so I ran up to melee it then shotgun him, but as I got near, the guy used his sniper rifle to kill the Boomer right in front of me. An entire swarm mob took me down to the floor, he threw a molotov at them (coming out from his hiding spot from the infected), and left me there to burn to death. He then proceeded to hit a Witch with a frying pan and Rickroll'd us over his headset while he was being dismembered.

I didn't play World of Warcraft for very long because it didn't hold my interest, but the short time I spent playing was usually devoted to ruining everything for the groups I was in. See, I played a Warrior, and made the unfortunate mistake of thinking WoW was a game where you could do what came naturally and not die.

Exactly, same here. My teammates kept telling me that running into mobs was a good way to get killed, and that it was smarter to fight them one at a time. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what they meant. Then I got my first ranged weapon, and it all made sense.

I still hated not being allowed to run in and muck things up, though.

Also, I was repeatedly told that I was drawing too much "aggro" by using attacks that generate a lot of threat, and I was like, "That horse from Shadow of the Colossus? Huh?"

because sometimes, you're playing a game and realize that you dont have time to finish the round or whatever it is.
You just feel like going out with a bang/douche, for the hell of it.

Most of the time, yea, you just go and disconnect from the server etc or something like that. but sometimes you just want to get your friends on the server with you and make a totem pole and shoot everyone on your time.

I dont understand doing that in L4D though... co-op is different

In L4D on No Mercy, versus we were on the final part when you have to go up the ladder to reach the roof and one guy just runs to the top tries to make a run for the weapons and stuff by himself and gets pounced on his way there. I run after him but get pounced as soon as I get out of the ladder. one of my teammates throws a molotov and comes running, up kills the hunter that pounced me but gets pulled by a smoker and I'm almost dead. so the last person who I think was afk comes up kills the smoker who has the other guy and they run to the radio but my health was low so when I tried to jump to the ground I ended up hanging there for someone to help me. so one guy comes back to help me but the other guy already called for help so the one that came to help me gets attacked by a horde and the other guy gets pulled by a smoker and we all die...

I was on Der Reise, and some guy was getting major kills - because he ket running into hoardes of zobies, and all we could hear every 2 seconds was "Revive me! Revive me!" and when he REALLY got into a hoarde we couldn't save him from, and he starts spurting ause, calling us spastics, so we decide to appease him in the spirit of keeping a doucebags mouth shut and ended up getting swaped.

I hate that geordie douchehole.

As for a personal experiance, well me and my friend fuck eachother over ALOT in rainbow six vegas 2.

However Left for dead survial is a reall good example, alot of times everyone will be fine, holding off the horde, and then someone goes running out for pills or a medkit or ammo, gets jumped on by a specail, and then everyone else gets torn to shreds trying to save them.

but honestly there are so many times I've played with people who like to just screw up the entire team, that not a particular occourance jumps to mind.

halo 3, the guy didn't have a mic and at the beginning of the round he fired a few rounds of an assault rifle into the back of my head, i turned to look at him and he just starts teabagging the ground (as if saying "we're cool, right?")

since this was the begging of the round i decided not to kill him (or i would be booted immediately) and he realized this to so he went around killing a few enemies, so he wouldn't be kicked instantly, then started killing off the team people where starting to get mad at him (although no one talked you could easily feel it) (not to mention he was getting team killed as well for killing everyone)

in the end i was trying to drive the elephant and he came up behind me and shot me with a shotgun (or beat me to death, i can't remember which) which makes it ironic because that was the last team kill till he got booted (he annoyed me the most, tried to kill me first, and i got to be the one to finally kick him)

When i was playing guild wars, when i was bored i'd go to an earlier mission as a necromancer, raise my army of the dead who were roughly 5 levels higher than the team, then i would sacrifice my self so they'd turn on my team, wiping us, ow the hilarity.

Me, I always do it. I usually dont do it when I am feeling serious or I dont really know the other people I am playing with but if I am playing with a few friends fuck it. I will run straight out lure everyone right back to my friends and proceed to find some nice cover and watch the mayhem and the eventual curses.

More OT I was playing a game of 2142 and me and my buddy were hiding behind some tanks or something while an APC took one of the control points. We didnt have the weaponary to take it down so why go out and fight something that will kill us. Well someone showed up and ran right on out into the open grabbed a car and came by us and laid on the horn. The APC by now had caught on and lobbed a EMP shell thing at him and one of the guys inside got out and shot a rocket at the car. The guy by now had jumped out and ran to us. The APC had taken the control point now and drove over to us proceeded to blow us up and pump us full of bullets.

The real kicker (no pun intended) was that the guy tried and succeeded to kick us afterwards saying we were aiding the enemy.
