It's something bizarre that I keep noticing in popular culture, the idea that a "real man" doesn't eat Quiche. Am I the only one who's never understood this? I mean, it's basically scrambled eggs with cheese, nobody ever sees a problem with that. Can somebody just explain to me when and how we decided it wasn't a "manly" food?

Don't you know that real men are supposed to subsist on raw meat and beer alone. More seriously, it is because of stupid stereotyped gender roles.

Quiche, quiche, quiche... *hits google*

Ooooh, that stuff. Shit, that's unmanly? Why didn't somebody tell me, I've been eating it for years!

*runs off to pump some irons and make up for lost manliness*

Rat creatures love quiche, especially when they have bone creatures cooked into them...

Ignorance being that most quiche I find is 70% bacon.
The quiche I eat is 70% spinach D:

Still, it actually tastes pretty decent. I guess I'm not very manly.

Quiche is awesome, whether with spinach or bacon.

On that note: I'm not picky about food so long as there's no seafood.

It's cold. And jellified. And cold. And tastes like something you eat when you're whipped by your wife into having salad for dinner.

I'm a man and I fucking LOVE quiche.
This.

OP, what heretics utter the blasphemous falsities? Quiche is delicious, especially hot, spinach quiche... Sorry, got distracted there.
But seriously, when did it become "unmanly"?

Cold and jellyfied? Thats not a quiche... quiche contains no gelatin and should be served hot.
I don't mean jellified as in actual jelly, but as in it's soft and mushy and quivering and... well, with jelly-like qualities.

Whenever i've had quiche it's been cold, like out of the fridge. But then i can't say i've ever had a homemade quiche.
