I love watching bad movies. Not only can it be hilarious, but it can teach you what not to do if you want to get into film making.

Suggestion: Watch S.Darko. Every line makes that sound like a bad porno.

On that note: The Legend of Boggy Creek. It's a documentary about a small town being accosted by some Sasquatch-like creature. I've seen it six times, and it gets funnier every time.

Movies are movies! I have the premium channels and have found myself watching crappy movies just because they are on. That is why I watched The Devil Wear Prada. There was nothing on, so I decided, for some reason, to give it a go.

It is terrible, but things like that happen to me all the time. You sir are not alone.

Everybody loves to hate. If that weren't the case, there would never be religious arguments!

Then I can only suggest that your avatar is quite appropiate.
leave him alone, a lot of people liked that movie. just because we don't have a hard-on for bumblebee, doesn't mean we deserve a facepalm.

and i thought the movie was great

I think I possibly enjoy bad movies more than good ones. I guess the reason being, basically, that if a film is good, we'll all shut up and just watch it. If it's bad, we'll spend the entire duration collectively mocking and laughing and joking, y'know, having fun and such.

So, yeah - never seen Transformers 2 (nor the first one, for that matter) but it's got to be on the list as soon as it's out on DVD. Which it might be already, I have no idea really.

Giant floating stone heads AND Sean Connery? A cinematic masterpiece, I say!

Why is it I can't resist watching movie I know will suck just so I can confirm my assumptions?
I do the exact same thing. I recently watched New York Minute (for free, I wouldn't have paid to see it) even though I knew it would be crap. I do it for the IMDB rating.

I lived not far from a 'cheapie theater' when I lived in Calgary (Canyon Meadows, great theater) and I was surprised to find another 'cheapie' here in Saskatoon (Rainbow Cinema. I'm not kidding, that's the name of the place). Once I start earning a regular paycheck I'll go see all the carp I missed during their theatrical runs.

I dunno- for the right price I might watch most any movie. I have a special place in my heart for bad films. Sometimes, if it all goes poorly enough, a bad movie becomes so awful that it transcends it's original "bad" classification and becomes "good" again (Army of Darkness for example).

Recently, I discovered a VERY cheap movie theater that shows movies that were released months before they are shown.
Wait, are you saying you found a theater that shows movies before they're released? Where is this magical place of wonder?
I think you misunderstood. The theater releases the movies after the release date.
