a 33 year-old man named brian woods, lead designer at popular game developer Relic Entertainment, was struck by an oncoming Chevy Blazer being driven by a 21 year-old woman, drunk driving. With his pregnant wife Erin in the passenger seat, Wood swerved his car to put himself directly in the path of the oncoming SUV, a decision that ultimately cost him his life, but protected his wife and unborn child from harm. Two other passengers riding in the backseat of the Blazer were also killed.

A memorial trust was set up within days of the accident. Tons of game developers, journalists and fans posted links on Twitter and Facebook, over thousands of supporting comments were posted on these pages, leading up the making of this site.

this kind of thing makes me sick, thinking that there are people out there so stupid as to think it was a good idea to drive while drunk.

And i have no idea why people still do things like that.
Every time im driving and i see someone TEXTING while they are driving i feel the urge to drive next to them, roll down my window, and then reach into their car and strangle them.

You are making the mistake of assuming that anyone who is drunk actually use their brain. Some people get behind the wheel drunk because of poor judgement and not realizing that they unfit to be operating a vehicle. Most are too messed up to care. Regardless, once the alcohol has been imbibed or the drugs have been consumed you can not expect any rational thought to occur.

Nowhere in the article does it say she was drunk. Any speculation that she was under the influence of anything has yet to be confirmed.
