Why do Women like men?

Come on guys. Admit it, most of us aren't exactly the type of people we would tend to be friends with. Most guys are rude, disgusting, stupid, etc and while I don't mind that, I can't see how a women would find any of that attractive.

Now, I'm not complaining. I don't mind that women like us, but it's just kind of confusing for me.

Rudeness and other traits don't apply to one gender, so the reason is probably because all men don't follow your gross generalization.

I think it's because the strongest men in tribes used to be the dumbest and most arrogant because of their high testosteron level.
Perhaps women are just born to like those kinds of men.
Incidentally, that's why I love to see women complain because their boyfriends don't listen to them enough or knocked them up.

Umm.. I don't know about you, but I am not rude, disgusting, nor stupid. Then again, I was taught manners at an early age... So maybe that's just me.

Well to begin with, that's a massive over-generalisation.

But short answer: Biology.

It's quite possible to be attracted to someone despite finding them really annoying, or otherwise not particularly nice.

But... If women never found men attractive, there'd be nobody left, because we'd never have sex, and there wouldn't be any children.

I mean, really, what else is there?
If we didn't need to reproduce, most of that stuff would be quite pointless.
Why bother?

Also we are naturally 'programmed' if-you-will to be attracted to men (obviously not a 'rule' by any means though).
Personally I prefer men because they generally have the same dark, dry sense of humour I have and I just dont seem to get along with other girls.

Speak for yourself. In my experience, few people can be summarised as you have summarised "most guys". Granted, most PEOPLE are rude sometimes, I don't know what you could possibly mean by 'disgusting', and stupidity is a feature of many people in both sexes. Most people don't find those things attractive, but enjoy whole host of other features that other people possess. If you can't be bothered to think about it for more than the time it took you to make your thread, I'm not going to bother educating you, but rest assured, as you get a bit older you'll see people getting into relationships more and you will start to see patterns.

I wonder the same thing. I mean, even the average female body is something of wonder and beauty to me, that being said... who am I for a woman to be attracted to? Slightly overweight, weirdly hairy, scraggly beard... Thank goodness for non-fightable interwoven biology!
