Why do you game?

I just think it's fun. I'm 15 I'm allowed.

this is a quality post, showing that quantity does not necessarily equal quality

anyway, i game for a couple reasons.

1. i like the chance to experience new things. when will i ever get the chance to fly a space ship and blow up alien spaceships? i know it might not be a good approximation of the experience, but i like to imagine it is. what i mean is i game because i get the chance to do stuff i cant normally do in real life, or because i intend my life to have another direction, so i know i wont ever be flying f22s for a living, or playing professional football. included in this is the chance to save the world or simply run around holding a gun straight forward for hours on end, or snipe someone in the head as i fly through the air. so to summarize, i game so that i can do the impossible.

I game because it is just plain interesting. Most of the time anyway. They pull you in and, if they are good, keep you there as long as they have to in order to finish. Plus, it is a nice, socially acceptable medium to express anger and frustration, unlike, say, graffiti(did i spell that right?)

I recently found my old gameboy and it really brang back some fond memories once I got one of the games to work. Even the old "Finding Nemo" game I found fun simply because it reminded me of back when I didn't have a care in the world.

I game because I find it fun. More importantly though it allows me to spend time with friends.

Why DON'T I game? You can meet people by playing mmo's and then turn around and shun people by playing good games (ha ha ha)
