I'm going to go ahead and say that you're bullshitting us to sound noble, and have no real experience with racism in order to garner a reply from you, because asking you to simply expand on this lofty, feathery, go-with-the-herd statement is too boring.

We will now explore the width an breadth of your douchebaggery. First, you are ignorant. That annoys me. For you to describe what I said, and let us use your phrasing here, as it was just [em]so[/em] damn eloquent, as "lofty, feathery, go-with-the-herd" and claim that I was "trying to bullshit" you displays a certain lack of intelligence on your end. Perhaps the my wording was cliched, but it got the point across. I will rephrase it more plainly for you:

When I encounter the kind of willful ignorance required for an individual to believe that skin color determines a person's worth, I get viscerally angry. Ignorance is at the root of many of the the problems in the world, and it is the duty of all rational beings to eradicate it, first in themselves, and then in others.

For you to object to this strongly enough to call me a liar brings into question your knowledge of the world. What I believe you are suffering from is a case of big-fish-small-pond syndrome. After having read through some of your previous posts, I am forced to the conclusion that you think that you understand the world. I would urge you to examine the source of that misplaced belief and remove it, before you make an even bigger ass of yourself.

You see, by saying that, you displayed your own ignorance by assuming that a complete stranger couldn't possibly have more life experience than what you consider acceptable. Never call someone a liar unless you have absolute proof.

I would have honestly preferred a civilized and productive discussion about the influence of racism in today's society. Unfortunately, you chose instead to antagonize me, and by making me angry, caused me to waste my time writing back, which has only served to piss me off more.

By the by, I live in Alabama, and I think that qualifies me to speak about racism. Think before post.

Sorry for the long pause, I was watching Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark. Well, now that my righteous indignation has been pulled out from under me, I find myself at somewhat of a loss over what to say. My experience has shown the those with racist inclinations are engaging in disgusting intellectual and moral laziness. It is just so damn easy to choose not to think, to simply cling to beliefs that hurt others, rather than learning from mistakes and forcing a change in world view. I don't believe that we are arguing at all, I I hope that what I am trying to say makes sense. I'm signing off now.

I don't hate racism. It's just part of life neither good or bad as long as it stays in the forms of jokes and small things. Killing/raping people for being another race is too much but ya, jokes and shit really don't bother me at all. Fuck everyone is racist anyway and anyone who denies it is a fucking liar.

Here is why I'd enslave someone with a different skincolor.

I have no problem with native americans AKA red necks and republicans.. As most native americans are white, like me so they don't have a different skin color.
My best friend is half native american as his mother came from I think texas or some other southern state, while I have never met his Australian father.

Surely a thread on "why do you love racism?" is a going to provoke more discussion and pointless pontification. Is there going to be anybody here who will claim anything more interesting than anecdotal diatribe? I don't like racism because it doesn't give people a chance. However, in the amount of times I've been mugged - the majority of it has been at the hands of 15 or so Lebanese boys. Is it racist if I steer clear of them in the street? No. Is it racist if I don't buy a house in a Lebanese area? No. The fact is, race is often mixed with economic standing, and economic standing is relative to crime. I'm saying "avoid the poor people who always mug me due to inexplicable social and masculinity issues" which in this case translates to "ah, don't go down there mate, there are tonnes of lebs." A group of people with a distinct nationality are an easier identifier. That's why "lads/chavs" are called "lads/chavs". They may be white, but we've named them to identify them.

Something I do find ironic though, is the way the "n" word has somehow become paradoxically cool and evil. Double standards are a bizarre thing.
