why do you like games?

I like games because they make me feel like a kid on christmas day...for some reason they actually get me exited

like the day Im going to go out and get the nest big game Im totally pumped (with the added adrenaline rush of will it wrok?? when I install)

I'd say it's probably the escapism that I enjoy the most, it's the same reason I like books or films, they let you step out of your life and live something fantastically impossible.

Plus I do seems to be getting abnormally excited whenever I play Gears 3. I actually forgot to breathe a few times today during a few tense Retro vs Gnasher fights.

I don't know, I've pretty much been addicted since I was little. I think it's probably escapism since I was also an avid reader.
