For me, it's all about chaos, which is why I watch and rewatch the Daily Drop. There's something very beautiful about watching something ordered turn into chaos. And even more in the knowledge that although it appears chaotic, it's actually perfectly ordered and being governed by natural laws. I feel that on some level it mirrors life, being occasionally ordered and occasionally chaotic.

I think it has something to do with the satisfaction of seeing something seemingly indestructible being taken down. Also, people may get some sort of thrill out of the pure concentrated energy involved.

That and it can look pretty cool.
