Don't hate everyone, just a few, occasionally you get a knob coming along, thinking he's better than everyone else, and that is one thing I cannot stand.

I want to know why everyone thinks XBL is full of 8 year old pricks. Yeah sure there is more than PS3 because XBox 360 has been out longer so more people have it. And there aren't as many as people think.
To say that "everyone hate xbox live players" is a hasty over-generalization. What it comes down to what ol' Volafortis said way back when.
I have to admit sometimes I am unpleasant on XBL but not directly to other people, I usually just get quite angry when ever I get an unfair death which to be honest does happen quite a lot for me. Plus I hate people who says I'm from Scotchland.....so annoying or worse when they say I'm from some other part of Britian
XBL jhust seems to have a higher arsehole/troll/dick/**** to player ratio than most other online societies although I haven't had the joy of experiencing the other Console ones but compared to most on the PC that I have beeni n anyway the ratio is much higher. Although this is just my opinion and I haven't been completely around the block so to speak.
Because Live has WAY, WAY, WAY more than it's fair share of racist twelve year olds and assholes.

It's because people stereotype them... the stereotype of a typical XBL player is either an annoying 12 year old or a college frat-boy asshole. Neither are an accurate description of the majority of the members on there.

Everyone else with a mic seem to be fairly friendly, if not, neutral towards me and the other players.

Everywhere there are people, there are annoying people. It's a simple fact of life, and isn't affected by what type of console you play.
But since these idiots are too lazy and impatient to wait for a game to download and install, they tend to stay on consoles.
