((For those who have yet to see Game Dogs ? its a cartooned (yes cartooned!) show about a few dogs struggling with game coding, deadlines and evil bosses. Really alot of fun))
Ive seen alot of threads about Game Dogs lately. Mostly in the featured content section in which every thread is packed with posts. And just about every single episode has been followed by circa 100? to 200 comments. You?d think this reaction would be positive but it really isn?t.
I see nothing but criticism. Okay that?s not true. Id say about 82.5 percent of all comments contain criticism (solely) and that?s still quite a lot. ( - The rest of the comments being conservative cartoon-lovers/furries desperately trying to show some appreciation in an ocean of abhorrence. I think its great! Im among them. )
SO? that brings me to my question. Whats up with this straight-out hate? When I see a crappy episode I just skip to another video. Or close the tap. I don?t post any comment seeing as a boring, unappealing series isn?t worth my attention in the first place.
A lot of you do the exact opposite. You sit down and write a long, semi-provoking comment with criticism directly aimed at the producers. And you return, many of you return, to post new comments on the next episodes of the same series. Is Game Dogs really that hard to ignore? Seriously whats up with this? How this particular series manage to generate so much hatred and steal so much attention is beyond me.
Is it because they are dogs?
Is it?
Me myself I love the series. Definitely hope they will continue with the episodes. All the characters are believable every-day kinda characters. - Personalities that you get to know and remember from real life. Roger could be a friend of mine. I think there is a Chet in every school class. And Bob is just freakin hilarious.
