Why doesn't Reddit have the same bad rep Tumblr has?

"Tumblrina" is pretty much now a slang term, and the whole damn site seems to be reflexivly associated with colored hair no-fun-allowed ultra left wing people with insane political and social views.

Yet when I paruse the supposedly more sane Reddit, I come across lovely quotes such as...

Females don't have personalities

I know one femoid organism who has diagnosed autism and had literally no interests outside playing insipid Xanga games. Talks in a monotone, long awkward pauses where her brain seems to be on idle, etc.

She got married 3 years ago and just shat out her first runt (male, so likely a future spergcel).

This makes me fucking furious. Normshits are always saying to improve your personality - what bullshit! A female have the personality of a vegetable and still get laid, get married, have kids, etc.

As a matter of fact, most FHOs have only the most basic pumpkin spice latte of personalities. No deep interests, no passions, no unique take on life, no strong ambitions other than the most generic normie shit (money/house/kids/travel). They can still get a boyfriend at the drop of a hat.

This includes the "nerdy" "gamer girl" "feminist activist" "kinky" "polyamorous" pussy equipped redditwhores who post here. They dont have any original instrinsic personality, they have a bunch of cliques they identify with. No real depth, substance, originality or thought put into it.

Females are garbage.
Women have no ambition

Women's life goals:

(A) be Instagram famous

(B) have a Chad boyfriend to take photos with in Bali, Paris and Ibiza

(C) short internship or job that produces nothing of value (which she will also quit after 3 months after finding a sugar daddy and blaming it on being "burned out from work") in a comfortable air conditioned office in some company with a flashy name like EY partners (flashy like their handbag brands) so she can brag about her "Career" and wear sexy office clothes everyday (boss only hired her because she is hot)

yup, that is all!
Men who compliment women are a disgrace

They just empower these bitches so that they have even higher standards. Fuck these men. Women do not deserve validation from the opostie sex because they are bisexual cunts.
Just like people are taxed progressively, Chad should also be taxed for the pleasurable experiences he has in life. This tax would then be distributed towards incels to help alleviate disparity.

Because it would be impractical to directly give Chad's pleasurable experiences to incels, this is how I propose it would be done. A dollar estimate would be made on Chad's experiences, which would be calculated by averaging the dollar amount that incels would pay to have these experiences. Then Chad would have to pay a tax percentage on these experiences (say like 30% or whatever the local tax rate is).

How could anyone disagree with this? It sounds like a perfectly fair system and would help fix inequality.
"Why do you treat women like they're a different species?"

? They rarely upfront

? They hate direct communication/ propositions from sub 8 men.

? They don't have reasonable standards (going for their looks-match).

? They have far more turn offs than turn ons. If you miraculously hit a turn on staying on it is like riding a unicycle on a trapeze wire. You can easily fall off into the turn offs while men have far more turn ons and more forgiving of hitting a turn off.

? Their dating advice is rarely applicable to who they actually fucked.

? They have an irrational sexual disgust for sub 8 good guys but give their L(egs). O(pen). V(ery). E(asily) for Chad/badboys.

? They have sex on demand while the majority of men do not. Even hideous women complain that they only get sexual offers. When have you met even an average complain about the same problem?

If women were more sensible in their partner choices then current dating and relationships wouldn't be as fucked as they are and inceldom would be near non-existent.
And many..MANY more.

So why does Reddit not seem to have a simiarly bad rap for its insane inhabitants? How did it get off the hook that Facebook and Tumblr got put on?

Simple answer: Reddit was big long before the SJW/Anti-SJW and gender nonsense got to it, and for a variety of things besides that and weird porn. Tumblr on the other hand, was taken to immediately by the SJWs (as they had largely been ejected almost wholesale from other sites) who then proceeded to put it on the map with their...unique view on life, whereas before Tumblr was basically for porn and well...weird porn.

Long answer: Basically the same thing as the short answer, but wordier.

Because Reddit has the monolithic "millions of individuals in a millions and ten communities" thing behind it.

Tumblr is a blog site, therefore much more personal and simpler to put a face to.

Basically you're comparing a bunch of, and this is important, anonymous text posts scattered around to someone talking about their personal lives on their blog.

Not to mention you're talking about different internet cultures, Facebook and Tumblr largely miss out on that 25-55 range outside of business and cross-promotion, whereas Reddit largely has the internet generation, architect generation, and first-adopters in it.

So you've got a bunch of people that have no problems with what people say because it's anonymous and often some manner of venting for the perceived wrongs done to them compared to someone that often calls people out by name and face(or username and content as the case may be) for the wrongs perceived done to them.

Also alot of people just use Reddit for its intended use as an aggregate of content and don't bother with comments, again, something Tumblr and Facebook aren't. They're all about comments in comparison.

Reddit is full of circlejerking attention whores. Not just r/TheRedPill or r/TwoXChromosomes or wherever you got these from.

Very different structure. Reddit is vast and has a network of communities, most of which are moderated. While there are crazies, they are eventually cracked down upon. Tumblr is a network of individual blogs, which makes it harder to moderate and concetrates the crazy.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of nutters of all ideologies on Tumblr, from white supremacists to religious fanatics. Infact, the gender loons are the less harmful of the people that lurk there.

Plus, how do you measure 'rep'? As far as I know, both sites have negotive stereotypes attatched to it.

Reddit has clearer divisions of content. People tend to immediately identify that reddit might have crazy corners, but they personally use it for hobby x, interest b and video game j, without too much crazy.

Then Tumblr has a twitter like 'follow who you want' format and no clear divisions of content when you visit as an outsider, making it less accessible to fly-by users. Couple that with the fact that most people who've never used it know it purely based on infamy....

Well you get one platform where people know first hand that the crazy is limited to its corners, while somehow believing its different in other places were content is user driven.

The structure of Reddit makes it easier to say "only certain subreddits are toxic" as opposed to the entirety of the site community.

Like others have said, I suspect it's the subreddit system that saves the site itself from the bulk of criticism. It gives a clearer group target, whereas generic crazies on Tumblr can have their stuff leak out any number of tags. For example, the moderators of a subreddit can delete and modify topics that are too extreme, relegating the crazier aspects to smaller subreddits that are not on the front page, whereas with Tumblr anyone that posts under a certain tag can appear if someone searches for that tag. R/news can maintain a sort of mainstream appeal through moderation, while the stuff that doesn't fit gets shunted to harder to find subreddits like r/conspiracy or r/altright. With Tumblr, every conspiracy theorist and political hack job blog post can use the news tag.

Basically Reddit can funnel its hatred towards specific subreddits like r/coontown and fatpeoplehate which can be targeted and banned by admins where tumblrs lines aren't as clear so the hatred is focused on the whole site rather than any clearly delineated groups. Though I have still met plenty of people that hate Reddit as a whole

reddit is a lot bigger, with horrible people of all stripes in different subreddits. I doesn't have one defined identity to pin down like Tumbler and FourChan.

I dunno, mostly because tumblr has a "bad rep" with the people who use reddit.

It is weird, though. Especially because you basically only see what you want to see with tumblr. Mine's 99% video games.

Well, there's no reason to associate tumblr with the left, or any group in particular. It's a lazy insult used by the right for some reason, with little justification.

Literally anyone and everyone can and do have their own tumblr. Google any subject at random and you aren't unlikely to find someone's tumblr page about it. And they'll be badly organised and not use tags well, but still.

Curious. Do the writers of these comments wear their hearts on their sleeves and then wonder what the problem is? Remove your hearts you fools! (Or your sleeves, I guess.)

I was definitely expecting a flame war on this thread. Instead I learned a bunch of things about the structure of Reddit and Tumblr. Kudos guys.

No idea since they're both pretty much the same website. You literally choose what content you get on both of them. The only time I see anything you mentioned is when I personally seek it out and laugh at it or go to one of the subs dedicated to laughing at it.

Edit: And I can't speak for other sites, but at least on some of the subreddits I go to, we acknowledge it can be a shitty ass place.

Well that was more disturbing than those dragonkin guys and their 150 genders, so yeah, I don't know why Tumblr gets more hate either. It's a shame femoid organisms won't give these nice guys the chance they're owed, instead they're out there, fucking chad.

I only use r/suicidewatch to vent when I feel like hurting/killing myself.

Also tumblr has the most confusing interface.
