so, you all know about the "hot coffee" scandal, and i recently found out why oblivion is 15 game (if you don't know it's because the origonal idea was that women would wear bras that could be removed) and with the whole GoW 3 sex scene thing it got me thinking...

if they're already increasing the rating because of cut content, why don't they put it back in? in oblivion and GTA both were volentary meaning you could play for hours without seeing boobs. if they put it back in they'd earn the money they were getting anyway, plus the money from people who feel the need to see digitalized boobs.

they're already being punished for it, why not do it?

PS: just want to point out, i am not a gamer who is only satisfied if there are boobs in a game. i play games for the game-play.

So your saying you want boobs? I like boobs, I could get behind your train of thought.

Really though I think if the media is yelling at them for what could have been sexual whatnot. Why would you shoot yourself in the foot and release a patch to put the stuff back in? I mean if your getting yelled at for what you didnt put in I can only imagine the public outcry if you sat back to put it in just to spite everyone. Fox would have a field day.

I don't mind if they remove nudity from games.

It forces the developers to get creative with their dirty fantasies.

that's not what i'm saying, i'm saying if you tailor a game to be rated T, then it ges rated M for content you cut, why not just put it back in? it's not like they'd increase the lable, seing as how it's acting as though it's in there already.

it's like someone shoots you in the foot for going to do something, if you've already been blamed why not do it?
