The jilted RPGer in me says...
1) A REAL sequel to Chrono Trigger (Cross is better when you pretend that it isn't a sequel) that conveys the simple fun of the original without the pretentiousness that bloated Chrono Cross.
2) KOTOR 3 with some real production put into it.
3) Suikoden VI, I don't know if Konami has abandoned this series, but I desperately hope they have not.
4) Shadow Hearts 4, this is a desperate hope, as I'm pretty sure the company that made these games is good n' dead, and after SH3 I don't know if they can be trusted.
5) Planescape Torment 2, I would love to see Obsidian return to their masterwork, even if it is only in spirit, something they have yet to do.
6) Skies of Arcadia 2, I loved the original, it was very traditional but also very fun, and Airships are awesome, even more so when they can be customized and used in really well thought out battles.
7) Zone of the Enders 3, I know ZOE 1 kind of sucked but 2 was a cinematic mecha combat experience like no other and I would dearly love to see a next gen incarnation of the series.
And now some comments on what other people want
Baldurs Gate 3: Kind of pointless in my opinion, given that NWN2 and the Expansion filled the void in my heart for this game.
Kid Icarus 2: It was an alright 8-bit platformer that is too dated to update. I mean really, what would a Next Gen Kid Icarus game offer? Do we really need an update? But then again, I never played the original in its heyday and I find Pitt to be lacking in usefulness in SSBB, so my point here is really balanced against.
Mother 3: This game exists but Nintendo is full of idiots thinking that this is not a valid property. They claim that it would not be financially viable to localize it yet they will gladly give us rehash after rehash (see Mario Party Series) instead and ignore the fact that many, many people have been loving this game in ROM form for years.
