He has a hostility towards people with opinions different from his, and as a result, he tends to attract sycophantic morons who do nothing but eat his shit up.

So, if you hate him because of what he says, what does that make you? A guy with a strong acceptance of people with an opinion different from yours?

I said earlier that I would give Jimquisition another try, and I am doing that right now. It's great! I have no problem with it. Maybe it depends on the episode, but I'm watching "Metacritic Isn't the Problem" and he seems to have some very good reasonable points. I'll watch the first episode again too, and see whether the issues I had with him are real or whether it was just a reaction to something different.

Edit: Okay, the first episode is still problematic. Now that I've seen a later episode which I like, I guess he's got more of an existing good reputation and buffer against the annoying things.

The first episode just had lower production values, and in addition to that, he's being the douchebag character he's trying to be. Together, it just made the first episode offputting. Also, at the time the video came out, I had already read and heard the exact same arguments he is making way too many times, so he sounded like another angry forum poster who happened to have a video with bad MS Paint art.

But if the Metacritic episode is representative of what the majority of his episodes are like, I think this guy is doing a fine job. I'm still not a fan of his angry forum poster persona and will take Extra Credits or Rev Rants or The Game Overthinker or Zero Punctuation over his any day, but I don't hate it.
