Firefox keep putting my tabs into new browser, which makes my computer lag and messes up the tabs.

I'm not clicking anything when this happens, so does anyone know how I make it stop doing this?

Are you sure you haven't accidently changed any settings or anything? If not, try closing the browser then open it again after a few minutes. Whatever it is might sort itself out.

Go to options,
tabs, then mess with things there.

That's a problem with your cookies. Try clearing them under options->privacy->then delete cookies. Alternatively your computer might not be set up to accept cookies so you'd have to change it so it does.

It's been happening for a couple days now.

How do I check the settings?

Sounds like something you can fix through playing with the settings. If not use a different browser for now and run a scan.

It sounds like a virus honestly, I'd run a full system scan with whatever antivirus you have, along with possibly downloading Spybot S&D. Spybot is free and works really well against adware/spyware.

I checked the options and there's nothing that has to do with what's happening.

Check settings, check for viruses, check for spyware. If still not working, uninstall and reinstall browser.

Firefox sucks! It hasn't been the model of an ideal browser for YEARS, and people continued using it out of abject hatred for microsoft!

Chrome is the best browser i've yet used. Try it!

Sorry, but I wouldn't know. I was really just throwing some ideas out there hoping they'd be helpful.

really chrome is better? they mostly steal all the settings from ie, they also steal all the features of firefox.

chrome is just a clown suit for ie and behaves in the exact same ways as ie does, even gives the exact same errors when encountering certain things

as for the original topic, it seems like a setting in firefox you did something with

Amen to that, chrome is just a dressed up lie. Firefox is kind of tempermental at times, though so I'd suggest uninstalling and installing again. They just brought out an update, actually...didn't they?
