i saw my brother playing minecraft one day and i thought he was stupid for playing a game like that, he somehow convinced me to try it and a week later im building an underwater dome next to my mid-sea castle

im not even sure how this happened???

i think minecraft is placing spells under our brains in order to get us to play more

On topic: Indeed, Minecraft is all kinds of engrossing. I think its appeal lies in the mutability of the entire game world. It's like having a huge set of Lego. There's also the collecting instinct that it taps into with the iron, gold, and diamond veins to plunder. You can never have too much!

It's like having a huge set of Lego.

No joke there!
That's why I love it! Heck! At 26 years old I can still sit down with a box of Lego and be entertained for hours. Minecraft taps into that exact same love of building, but just makes it digital. But it's the survival mode that makes it a beast! Just building things can get old, but building while finding the right resources and fending off zombies, skeletons, spiders, and the blasted creepers (SsssssssssssssBOOM) is just epic.

So far I've made a statue of the PC and now Im making a cathedral to my self.

I love it as well. After a long day of work/school/Lol it is just so relaxing to sit back and build things. Can't wait for new patch.

Also, the Zelda Texture/Sound pack bump it up to the next level of amazing.
