No it shouldn't. because logically speaking, there is much more logical evidence to support misanthropism, than racism. Also, racism is inherently unjust, whereas misanthropy is not. Finally, us misanthropes are correct.Chefodeath said:

Two reasons:

Second, they're misanthropes. They avoid people, all the time. And they're generally good at it. So most people don't meet them, and are only exposed to media interpretations. Which are generally positive. And then that forms people's opinions. Bam.

Schopenhauer is one of the most notable misanthropes and his works are excellent most notably "The world as will and representation". Though he was also a misogynist and it shows in his writings. It was mentioned somewhere that he once pushed an old woman down the stairs fairly funny.

Thus we are mostly secret haters of this species (yes, hating ourselves being among this species too, shameful really) and generally view as having perma-bad day with everyone.
What we don't and can't do is sack employees for being human, but a racist can fire people for being black and a sexist can drop people for being homo.
Sorry if my post seems aggressive but being a misanthrope myself, reading the opening post is more of less the same as someone posting a discussion that dog-hater cat-lover should deserve the same hate as racism. If you're going to say dogs and cats are animals thus viewed different, then you're more bias than what you think of us to be.
