why is my fallout 3 crashing when i fast travel.

Ok before anyone says anything my computer can handle fallout 3 very well it runs at ultra high with no problems, but the last few days it has been crashing everytime i try to fast travel to rivet city and i have no idea why.

I am running a few mods with fomm and fose mainly marts mutant mod a few armour and weapon mods (mainly consisting of the 40k variety.) i was wondering if anyone could help me out with the sudden crashes.

Its probably the game itself. Used to do that whenever I went the Jefferson Monument. You might just have to start a new game.

ah crud that aint good as i had completed everything from all my dlc's anchorage the pitt broken steel, ah well i could give it a try i wont delete that one just in case i find a way to fix it.

ah well at least i get to murderize the enclave and chinese army again think i might go evil for this character but my good side would take over(i dont like being evil to people on games for some reason)

Have you tried travelling to a place nearby and then walking the rest to Rivet City? That had helped me once my game crashed every time I tried to fast travel to that flooded Metro Station.
